Below are a selection of FAQ's to help answer any questions you may have during the booking process or before your stay at Drayton Manor.
To help you to find the answers to your question, these are separated into sections as follows:
Where is the Hotel?
The Hotel is on the same site as Drayton Manor Theme Park. As you come up the driveway you will see the Hotel and guest parking on the left hand side.
What is the postcode for the hotel?
If you are using a satellite navigation system, the best postcode to use is B78 3SA
What is the nearest Airport?
Our nearest Airport is Birmingham International, it is around 13 miles from the hotel and costs around £25 in a taxi.
What is the nearest Train Station?
The closest Train station is Tamworth, around 3 miles from the Hotel. A Taxi to or from the station costs around £6.00

What room types do you have

How many people can stay in one room?
In our family rooms we can accommodate 2 adults and up to 2 children under 10 years of age in a sofa bed.
In our interconnecting rooms we can accommodate 2 adults and up to 5 children, with the sofa bed and the interconnecting twin room with a 3rd pull out bed.
Does the online rate include breakfast?
Yes, all of our rates include breakfast, unless stated otherwise.
You can also upgrade to a Character Breakfast at weekends and during school holidays at a price of £7.95 per adult and £5.95 per child. Character breakfasts must be prebooked and are subject to availability.
What are the standard check-in and check-out times of the hotel?
You can check in to your room at 3pm. Check out time is 10 am.
Do you provide a service for late check-out?
Late check out can be requested at time of check in and is chargeable. Late check out will be charged at £10 for up to 30 minutes, and £20 per hour for each hour thereafter. Rooms cannot be held for late check out after midday.
Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
All of our rooms have a bath with shower over the bath, excluding our accessible rooms which have a wet room style bathroom with just shower.
Do you have non-smoking rooms?
All of our rooms are non-smoking
Do you have accessible rooms?
Yes, we have rooms that have been specially designed for accessible use including one of our Thomas & Friends themed family rooms.
What are the check-in/out times?
Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10am.
What age do you class as children for Hotel purposes?
Children are 0-16 years
Is there a safety deposit box available at the hotel?
There is a safe in all of our bedrooms for our guests convenience, there is no charge for this.
Is WIFI available at the hotel?
WIFI is available throughout the hotel and is free of charge for all guests. Please obtain your login details from our reception team.

Is there car parking at the hotel?
There is ample free car parking for our guests at the hotel.
Do you have cot beds?
We do have a number of travel cot beds for our guests use. Please advise us at time of booking if you require one for the duration of your stay. We do not charge for these.
Do you provide high chairs?
We do have a number of high chairs along with booster seats for our guests convenience. Please request one when you place your reservation for dinner.
Do you accept Tesco clubcard vouchers?
No we don't accept these at the Hotel.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
If you have booked online you can cancel online here (subject to the terms of your booking) if your booking was booked directly with the Hotel, contact the Hotel directly on 01827 285551 to cancel (subject to the terms of your booking).
How can I book an event?

What are the different packages you offer?
We offer Bed & Breakfast rates and Stay & Play rates (including 1 day tickets) Note: If you stay 2 nights you will receive two day tickets.
If I want to book 2 nights at the Hotel with tickets for only one day, what is the best way to do this?
The best way to do this is to book two nights Bed & Breakfast and add the tickets separately to your booking, which is available at the next stage of the booking process online.
If I am buying the package with the park tickets included can I check in early and leave my bags?
We cannot guarantee your room will be ready to check in before 3pm. However, if you do arrive before the check in time of 3pm we have a secure luggage storage area in the hotel for your convenience.
Please note we cannot accept any responsibility for items left in the luggage storage area.
If I buy a package with park tickets, when can I use my tickets?
You can use your tickets on the day of your arrival or departure.
If you choose to collect your tickets on arrival at the Hotel we can store your luggage until you check in, your tickets will be available at reception.
Alternatively they can be collected from reception as you check out to use on day of departure.
Can I buy tickets at the Hotel?
If you have not bought tickets in your package, you will need to buy these directly from the park. Although you can add a second day ticket for just £14 per person which can be purchased from Reception.
What does my ticket include?
Tickets include access to Drayton Manor Theme Park, Thomas Land and Zoo, there is no separate charge for any rides.
Is a baby sitting service available?
No we do not provide a babysitting service.
What special services are available for children?
We are pleased to welcome children to the hotel and have:
- Thomas and Friends playroom (not chargeable, not available all year round)
- Amusements (chargeable, available all year round)
- Character Breakfasts (available at a small additional charge, available at weekends and during School holidays)
- Evening story time (not chargeable, not available all year round)
(Please check with reception for timings of playroom and evening story time as this is not available all year round).

What options for dining are there in the Hotel?

Do I need to book for dinner?
We do get very busy at times and so it is advisable to book. This can be done with reception on your check in.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes. Please advise us at time of booking any special dietary requirements that you may have and we will try our best to ensure you are catered for. Ideally we require at least 48 hours notice to give us the best possible chance of being able to cater for your requirement.
Is a special menu available for children?
We have a children’s menu available at all meal times.
Do you have 24 hour room service?
Yes, we offer 24 hour room service.

Can I connect my laptop in the room?
We do not have IDSN access. We have wireless internet access available throughout the hotel and is free of charge for all guests. Please obtain your login details from our reception team.
