Finance Manager

Salary: Circa £38,000 per annum

As Finance Manager bringing with you experience of working in a similar hotel in a comparable role, you will be joining a proud and dedicated team, who work hard to make this distinguished and busy hotel the success it is.

Working closely with the Theme Park’s Finance Team, the Hotel’s Heads of Departments and our partner management company, you will oversee all the financial aspects of the Hotel including the profit & loss account, payroll, forecasting, stock management, supplier payments and manage the financial processes within the unit.

Having experience in preparing and presenting information at a senior level, you will provide timely financial information internally and to the Hotel’s partner management company. As a great communicator (sharing information with finance and non-finance managers) you will also have the chance to influence decision making across the Hotel, working day-to-day, alongside the Hotel’s General Manager.

Excellent knowledge of hotel operations along with experience of working with hotel finance systems and processes is essential as is a good understanding of Excel and Word. Knowledge of Navision and Opera would be a distinct advantage as would experience of working with a budgeting software tool). A minimum AAT qualification is also essential.

HR Advisor

Salary: Circa £26,000

As an experienced HR generalist, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, you will use your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with managers to coach and advise on employee relations issues, recruitment, training and development.

Using your knowledge of employment law you will work with across all operational areas (Park and Hotel) to embed our people policies & procedures to ensure consistency.

Reporting to the HR Manager, as a real “people-person” with the ability to balance the serious side of HR with a light-hearted approach (and a sense of humour) you’ll enjoy managing your own workload and being accountable for your own results.

HR generalist experience is essential as is current knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. You must be confident working at all levels and have excellent influencing skills as well as a great attention to detail.  A CIPD qualification would be an advantage as would experience of working in a similar environment however neither are essential.

Maintenance Assistant

Under the general direction of the Maintenance Manager and within the limits of the hotel’s policies and procedures ensure that routine maintenance is performed in order for the hotel’s equipment to be operated with maximum efficiency to achieve customer and guest satisfaction.

Head Chef

A new and exciting opportunity has been created at The Drayton Manor Hotel, Tamworth, Staffs.

As Head Chef you will have previous experience in this style of food and busy operation. You will be able to demonstrate experience of managing the kitchen for both quality and volume. You will have strong kitchen financials and understanding of budgets, constantly developing and innovating dishes on the menu, provide ongoing training to ensure good knowledge gained in all areas of the kitchen plus the management of health and hygiene

The 150 bedroomed hotel is located within the grounds of Drayton Manor Theme Park. The day to day food operation encompasses breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service as well as conference and private dining offerings.

You will be reporting to the Executive Head Chef who oversees the Grill Inn, Hospitality and Hotel Kitchen function.
