COMMIS CHEF – Hotel & Grill Inn Restaurant

Due to the success of the recent restructure and business growth, Drayton Manor hotel are now recruiting for a Commis Chef to be based in the Grill Inn Restaurant or the Hotel; both located in the grounds of Drayton Manor Theme Park

We are looking for individuals with real flair and passion for cooking. Your career as a chef could begin or be enhanced here with opportunities to work in different Kitchens, training support through NVQ training and all leading to opportunities to progress in the brigade.

The ideal candidate must have commitment and ideally have previous exposure to or be prepared to experience working in a fast paced, high volume restaurant.

Security Officers

We are looking to recruit Seasonal Security Officers contract will commence on 21st March until 1st November 2015
Full-time shifts are 7am-7pm, four days per week or 7pm-7am, four nights per week.

General duties include:-

Observe and controlling the traffic entering, driving around and leaving the company premises:

  • Patrolling car parks
  • Patrolling all areas of the park and respond to requests for assistance
  • Assist in dealing with customers in what may be challenging circumstances
  • To deal sympathetically with customer queries and problems
  • Full SIA Door Supervisors License (valid until 2nd November)
  • First Aid an advantage but not essential
  • To assist in searches of employees when requested by Management

Cash Office Assistant
Full-time seasonal role

(contract from 21st March 2015 to 1st November 2015).

This cash office and this role is responsible for the daily collecting, counting, reconciling and accounting for cash from across the whole site. The team checks the amounts balance, and also operate the cash points on site.  In addition to this, the role includes assisting with any clerical and cash office related duties and preparing change for all areas of the park. Some manual handling will be required - cash bags can be heavy. 



Due to the nature of this role, honesty, integrity and accuracy are essential.  As such, it is important to note that we will be taking up references and carrying out a DBS check on the successful applicant.  If you are systematic and precise and like to make sure tasks are always completed on time you will find the role rewarding.  Ideally you'll have experience of dealing with cash, have good numerical skills and find analysing figures a challenge.
